Et
monument over den 16-årige Stepan Chubenko blev for nylig afsløret
i Kramatorsk. Stepan var en ivrig sportsfan og var
målmand for fodboldholdet Avanhard Kramatorsk.
Ukraine. Russiske lejesoldater beslaglagde
byen i april 2014.
Russisk-ledede
militante fra Kerch-bataljonen.
Nogle
siger - i det besatte Krim. Andre siger – i Rusland.
Gad vist
Putins Rusland inden VM i 2018
Det
var først efter flere måneder, at Stepans mor fandt hans lemlæstede
lig.

A monument to 16-year-old Stepan Chubenko was recently unveiled in Kramatorsk. Stepan was an avid sports fan and was the goalkeeper of the football team Avanhard Kramatorsk. With the start of the war, Stepan and his friends took part in rallies in support of Ukraine. Russian proxies seized the city in April 2014. On June 23, 2014, Stepan was violently dragged off the Donetsk train due to the blue-yellow ribbon attached to his backpack and the FC Karpaty scarf around his neck. Stephan was brutally beaten. All his teeth knocked out, many bone fractures. At one point, they took him down to the river. Forced him to take off his sports shoes, the only one he wore, which was of a certain quality, he was a pretty promising goalkeeper. Then they forced him to his knees and shot him in the back of the head. He fell, but moved. Then they shot him 4 more times. I wonder where his killers are now. Russian-led militants from the Kerch Battalion. Some say - in the occupied Crimea. Others say - in Russia.
I wonder if they have been decorated like other Putin's 'Novorussia separatists'
I wonder if they sleep well at night.
I wonder if they feel good when they walk around in a 16-year-old dead-boy's sports shoes.
I wonder if my old goalkeeper hero Peter Schmeichel has met this 'heroes' when he traveled around and promoted Putin's Russia before the World Cup in 2018
It was only after several months that Stepan's mother found his mutilated body. On November 8, 2014, Stepan Chubenko was buried in his hometown. Kramatorsk was liberated by the Ukrainian army on July 5, 2014.
Eternal Memory!
