Amina a hero from Ukraine

 June 5 Amina Okuyeva's birthday  - a Ukrainian doctor, public activist and military serviceman. Participants in the revolution of dignity and war in eastern Ukraine in the battalion. Amina Okueva died on October 30, 2017 in Kyiv following a Russian terrorist attack.

I have been asked to share this poem, which in the Danish version was included in the Anthology "Kill Your Darlings" and "There are heroes" which was published in 2018 in connection with the World Cup in Russia.

AMINA WHO WOULD NOT WANT TO BE A BLACK WIDOW

Natalia Nikoforova
who was born in Odessa
back when the Berlin Wall still existed
she spend her youth in Moscow and
Chechnya.
Because of her beautiful look

she became a model in Moscow.

Changing times
a new president and yet another war
Natalia became
Amina in the war
and she became a war widow,
many worthy men fell
in the war against Putin's invasion.
A Kalashnikov was now
her friend
and he did not leave her side
until a new man
moved the rifle a little
so it could defend love
at the front
which had spread throughout Chechnya.

After the war

the Russian racism
tore her scarf
hatred for the ‘black’ caucasians
and she fled with her husband
Adam
back to Odessa

Others still have fled and I remember one

Rhythmical

marching boots.
An echo in history
drowns the sound of feet
driven to the
waiting train wagons,
the deportation of an entire nation
fades away
in Gulag Archipelago
but the detached pages
from the endless tale of woe

swirls up
by the slipstream of the helicopters.

Amina swore her Hippocratic oath
in Odessa
and she could have become a very common doctor

if it weren’t for the revolution which to the country
She treated the wounded at Maidan
and in the camp with the Afghan veterans
who too wanted an Ukraine without Kleptocracy.

The heavenly hundred was killed
and the war
came to Ukraine
with the little green men from Russia
Amina went to the front
and fought together with
Brigade-General Isa Munaev.
They paint icons of heroes.

Kadyrov
sent a hitman to kill
Amina and Adam,
and the twit-poet wrote

forgot all Russians
whom his wife had shot

now only exists in pictures.

A disgusting ambush
the shots killed Amina
and wounded Adam,
the hit man
ran away with those bitcoins
he got as payment
for a filthy murder
on a woman in Europe
that day at a railroad crossing
outside of Kyiv ...
